Dominic's Ristorante Italiano is a well-established Italian restaurant located on Walker Street in Cypress, offering a reliably satisfying lunch and dinner experience. This spot caters to those looking for classic Italian fare with a focus on hearty plates like veal parmigiana, seafood risottos, and a solid selection of pizzas, including deep dish Sicilian styles. The welcoming atmosphere leans toward casual dining with the option of patio seating, making it a comfortable choice for both solo meals and small gatherings.

Visitors will find the service mostly attentive, with the staff ensuring the usual pre-meal bread is a homemade touch that many regulars appreciate. The quick turnaround, particularly during quieter midday hours, means you can expect your food without a long wait – a plus if you’re in for a quick yet satisfying lunch. The portion sizes, such as the large Caesar salad, are generous enough to share, which suits visitors seeking value without compromising on flavor.

Seafood plays a strong role here, with dishes like shrimp risotto and black mussels earning repeat mentions, alongside hearty pasta options and appetizers including mozzarella sticks and New England clam chowder. Pizza lovers should note that toppings come at extra cost, but the overall pricing stays reasonable. The vibe strikes a balance, avoiding any formality and instead feeling like a dependable neighborhood spot where the food quality steadies expectations.

This restaurant tends to be a hit for locals who want a no-fuss Italian meal without the hassle of long wait times or overly trendy pretensions. Weekdays, especially around lunchtime, offer a quieter experience, while weekends might bring a livelier crowd. If you’re unfamiliar with the area but crave a satisfying Italian meal with familiar staples—whether it's risotto, lasagna, or a solid panini—Dominic’s can feel like a familiar place to return to, time and again.

Food is always hands down delicious. This is our go to spot when we want a guaranteed Italian meal when we are hungry and not in the mood for exploring other options.. This is the kind of place that you JUST KNOW it will be good every time! And the breadsticks are handmade

I was visiting soCal and friends who like this restaurant suggested we eat there. Food was nice, but not 5 star. My friends love the rolls. Rolls were good, but I have had better. I had the minestrone soup and shrimp Valentino. The sauce on the shrimp was tasty. My friends really enjoyed the lasagna and other pastas. We were fitted on the patio. After the food was served, we saw little of our waitress. Would have liked to be checked on more frequent. While it was a nice restaurant it does not meet 5 stars in my opin.

Stopped on for a quick lunch and had the entire place to ourselves. We were seated right away, our food only took about 10 minutes before we started to receive our order. The food was delicious and very flavorful ! The Cesar salad (large) can feed 2 people. the panini & grilled pesto were so good. I really enjoyed the marinara sauce was was perfect and flavored nicely.

Been looking for Italian places where they serve risotto since my mom loves it. They have it, mom had the risotto with salmon & asparagus, t’was surprisingly good. Also had appetizers, loved the mussels, cannelloni, & deep dish Sicilian pizza. Pricing are reasonable, however each & every pizza toppings are additional fees. Over all good dining experience

Usually a 5 star experience for us here, but this visit was 4 star. Host that seated us made us wait (with many open tables noted as we arrived soon after they opened) and was rather 'robotic' and definitely not friendly or engaging. It was our anniversary (which we advised our server of) and nothing special happened, as other restaurants do. Also, their amazing bread is now limited to one piece each with your entrée, which we found disappointing.
